These songs were originally recorded in November 1998 in a spare bedroom in Endymion Road, off Brixton Hill, London. Mark and Howard had built themselves a recording studio featuring numerous analogue and digital synths, two Akai S2000 samplers, numerous effects and a 16 track digital mixer and recorder. Most nights they would improvise live and record the session to standard cassette (this was before they got the mixer). Howard would play synths and control the mixer and Mark would use the samplers, and a Roland mc303. They would both use the Atari ST running Cubase.

These sessions culminated in hours of recordings which they sifted down to ten tracks. Only four now survive, the rest having been on the master that disappeared a long time ago. One of the tracks 'Scarper', only exists as a low quality mp3. Mark may still have his copy of the original master, yes it still might exist, but we lost contact a long time ago.
