Recorded in 1999.

Using mostly a 16 track spirit mixing desk with a zoom effects rack, I ran sequenced samples and Roland synth pads through it all to create a mass of distortion. The tracks were recorded to DAT and then to mini disk and then onto a computer as masters. This gives them that thinness that I was going for.

The photograph is of me in mid 1994 a year after finishing my degree. I'm living in Tottenham. After spending six months working in a frozen food factory in Boston I came back to London not really knowing what to do with myself. Six months on the dole had tired me out. I eventually managed to get a job as a postman and from there left London to live in Somerset with my then girlfriend Tara for a while. I then moved to Plymouth to manage a bookshop.

My hair looks really good.
